为加强银行体系流动性管理，中国人民银行决定上调存款类金融机构人民币存款准备金率1个百分点，于2008年6月15日和25日分别按0.5个百分点缴款。地震重灾区法人金融机构暂不上调。

 

 

BEIJING, June 7 (Xinhua) -- China's （中央银行） on Saturday ordered banks to set aside more money as reserve , the fifth such move this year, in the latest effort to enhance （流动性管理）in the banking system.

The （存款准备金率） would be raised by 0.5 percentage point on June 15, and another 0.5 percentage point on June 25, the People's Bank of China (PBOC) said in a statement on its website.

This will bring （存款准备金率）  to a record high of 17 percent.
